Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) is a 501(c)3 designated humanitarian organization established in 1964 in Tyler, Texas. The Prince George’s County Chapter was established in 2009 and its membership has grown to more than 160 members, making it the largest chapter in the nation. TLOD focuses on five major programmatic thrusts to include a program which focuses on youth development (Top Teens of America), as well as thrusts focusing on improving the status of women, serving senior citizens, beautifying the community, and establishing community partnerships. We also support the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the March of Dimes and St. Jude Children's Research Center.
As a non-profit educational, humanitarian organization with more than 58 years of service, we remain relevant in the pursuit of excellence, with a deeper commitment to serving mankind.

The mission of the Prince George’s County Chapter of the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. is to transform our society by providing exemplary community service to youth, women, and senior citizens so that their quality of life, and the communities in which they live will be enhanced.
